Present your Best Practices:

Present at the 2012 VATFACS Annual Professional Development Institute and share your professional expertise. Presenters are invited to submit a presenter’s application to conduct a break-out session. We are looking for teachers of exemplary Family and Consumer Sciences programs represented from around the state. Earn recertification points for your license renewal.

Call for Grand Carousel and Showcase Presenters

The Grand Carousel and Showcase  is a combination of carousels and showcase displays set up at round tables designed to allow participants a multitude of choices in a small amount of time. Participants may choose to visit four carousels, the showcase area, or a combination of both.

Session Facilitators Needed

Family and Consumer Sciences teachers attending the annual institute are needed to serve as workshop and general session facilitators. Facilitators will be assigned to a specific session. An orientation meeting will be held from 4:15 p.m. to 5:00 p.m. on Monday, August 1. It is only through the commitment of Family and Consumer Sciences Teachers like you that our annual institute is a success.
